Sale of live animals
We are constantly selling animals from our flock.
We are staunch opponents of factory farming! That's why our sheep in the flock live outdoors all year round, close to nature, get plenty of exercise and are reared without antibiotics, hormones or industrial concentrated feed. From spring to autumn, the animals feed exclusively on fresh grass, herbs and meadow flowers. During the winter time we feed the sheep with hay as well as potatoes and grain from our own cultivation. The Pomeranian sheep are by nature, healthy and robust animals that utilise their food very well. The lambs have reached their slaughter weight at about six months.
We sell our products in the European Union to the meat trade, hotels, gastronomy and private customers.
In addition to its exceptional tenderness and unique taste, our lamb has health properties that are recommended for a healthy and balanced diet.
The special features are the low fat and cholesterol values. Beef, for example, contains an average of 20% fat and 82mg cholesterol in 100g. If we compare this to lamb, we find only 12% fat and 71mg cholesterol. Pork also contains more cholesterol and fat than lamb.
